Just add a little bit of... Sauce |
Hello and welcome to my linkin' blog. My name is Andrew (a.k.a. Sauce) and I am a 34-year-old Southern guy with a love of film, music, art, theater, technology and The Muppets. Since I was already in the habit of emailing a lot of my friends and family with nuggets of the web, this format allows me to do just that. Read it or not, there's always gonna be something here that piques my interest that I felt was worth sharing with y'all. |
In honor of today’s 50th anniversary of the UK release of DR. NO, British pop singer Adele has released her recording of the theme song from the forthcoming 23rd James Bond adventure SKYFALL. The new film opens in the UK on October 26th while us Yanks have to wait until November 9th to see it here in the U.S.
Here’s the latest full-length trailer for the forthcoming James Bond adventure SKYFALL. Each successive look at the film over these last few days has been making me more and more excited. UK cinemas get the film on October 26th, while the U.S. has to wait until November 9th to see it. Now strap yourselves in for a thrill ride!
Here’s a 27-second teaser that aired for SKYFALL, the forthcoming chapter in the James Bond film series, during last night’s 2012 Olympics opening ceremony. It looks like Sam Mendes (AMERICAN BEAUTY, ROAD TO PERDITION, JARHEAD) has pulled it off. I am excited and hopeful that this film will help continue the Craig years on after the bear trap that was QUANTUM OF SOLACE ensnared his legacy after his explosive debut in CASINO ROYALE. Oh, and Roger Deakins’ digital cinematography looks simply gorgeous!
SKYFALL -
“Some men are coming to kill us. We’re gonna kill them first.”
A teaser trailer for the forthcoming chapter in the BOND franchise hit the web yesterday morning and though I didn’t see it until the late afternoon, let’s just say it made my day. Daniel Craig returns for his third outing as the British agent with a licence (hey, that’s how the Brits spell it!) to kill. British stage & film director Sam Mendes (AMERICAN BEAUTY, ROAD TO PERDITION, etc.) is calling the shots with the masterful cinematographer Roger Deakins behind the camera. The film is set to open in the U.S. on November 9th, 2012, though several European, Asian & South American countries will have a chance to see the film as it’s release begins tiering out on October 25th.
Here’s the first photo from the forthcoming James Bond film SKYFALL, directed by Oscar winner Sam Mendes (AMERICAN BEAUTY, ROAD TO PERDITION, JARHEAD, etc.) Star Daniel Craig is joined by Judi Dench, Javier Bardem, Albert Finney, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory & Bérénice Marlohe. The production is currently filming around the world in such places as India, South Africa & Turkey, in addition to work on the 007 Stage at Pinewood Studios in England. The film will open in U.S. theaters on November 9th, 2012.
